Major '''Alexander Cloyd Gill''' (1889 – April 7, 1943) was a [[journalist]], radio commentator and author. Gill was a newspaperman in [[Washington DC]] and the former editor of the ''[[Atlanta Constitution]]''. He was a close associate of [[William Randolph Hearst]].

Gill was research director of the [[Constitutional Educational League]] and a leader of [[American Patriots]].

His parents were George Gill (May 2, 1856 - December 20, 1907) and Anna T. Sanders (May 27, 1860 – May 27, 1903). Both are buried in [[Homer]], Louisiana. In 1906 he graduated from Homer High School. [http://www.claiborneone.org/homer/hhs.html]

Gill helped to arrange the [[Asheville Conference (1936)|Asheville Conference]], a gathering of [[fascists]] in August 
12–16, 1936.
