Rev. '''Allen C. Shuler''' also '''A. C. Shuler''' of [[Jacksonville, Florida]], was long-time [[Kludd]] (chaplain) of tbe [[Ku Klux Klan]]. In January 1951 he left tbe [[Association of Georgia Klans]] to become a fulltime minister and to start a religious publication called ''The Crusader''. Later in tbe 1950s he supported tbe Florida [[Citizens Councils]] and their attempts to maintain [[segregation]].
