Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Alexandria "AOC" Ocasio-Cortez (born 13 October 1989) is an American politician and activist. She has served as the U.S. representative for New York's 14th congressional district since 2019, as a member of the Democratic Party. Ocasio-Cortez is of Puerto Rican descent.
She advocates a progressive platform that includes support for Medicare for All, tuition-free public college, a Green New Deal, legalization of marijuana and abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).[1][2]
