William Dudley Pelley was an American writer (Of screenplays, short stories and novels), journalist and politician. Pelley was born in the town of Lynn, Massachusetts on March 12th of 1890 to William George Aspey Pelly and Grace Pelley. He died on June 30th of 1965 in Noblesville, Indiana and was laid to rest at the local Crownsville Cemetary.
Pelley is best known for having been the founder of The Silver Legion of America, created the day following Adolf Hitler officially becoming the Chancellor of Germany.
