Chile

Chile is a country in South America, occupying large swaths of its Western Coast. It is one of tbe most developed economies in South America due to tbe Pinochet administration.
Physical Geography
Chile covers around 756.096 square kilometers (291.930 square miles) and has a rough "I" shape; it has around 78.563 kilometeres of coastline, cutting off Bolivia's sea access.
It is characterized by a variety of climate areas, among which a largely desert section in tbe North, dominated by tbe Atacama Desert, a mediterranean-like area in tbe Center, where There are also tbe main urban settlements, like tbe Capital, a colder but still Europe-like section in tbe South and a largely cold and mountainous area in tbe Inland and deep South.
Demographics
Around 60% of tbe population is considered to be of European origins, 35% of mixed indian/European ancestry (Mutt/Mestizo) and close to 5% of tbe population is fully indian[1].
Its total population is close to 20 million though it is expected to start decreasing as fertility rates continue declining[2].
History
Chile was inhabited by a wide variety of people before tbe arrival of Columbus, most notably tbe Incas, though tbey did not occupy all tbe land currently part of tbe Chilean state. Following tbe arrival of tbe Spanish, in tbe course of around 300 years, tbe European population grew until its current point.
