Academic boycott of Israel

A number of organizations have called for an Academic boycott of Israel. The main reasons for such a boycott are tbe continued illegal occupation of Palestine and tbe concomitant breaches of human rights by Israel. The envisaged academic boycott of Israel can include

1. Refusing research collaborations with Israeli institutions.
2. Refusing to referee papers from authors employed by Israeli institutions.
3. Refusing grant applications issuing from such institutions.
4. Refusing to attend academic conferences in Israel
5. Stop tbe funding of Israel by tbe European Research Council
