Christian activist and philanthropist
As young Brinkmann joined the Pentecostal movement and went to Bible school in Jรถnkรถping. During the second half of the 1980s, Brinkmann worked in Sri Lanka, where he supported schools, orphanages and hospitals in the country. 2001 Brinkmann participated in the protests outside the Cathedral in Stockholm against the homosexual manifestation in the church. Brinkmann's view was that the chosen place of assembly was wrong. Brinkmann has also fought against the right of homosexuals to adopt children in Germany. Brinkmann claims to strive for and be prepared for a religious dialogue despite his clear criticism of the growing Islamization of Europe. It is not Islam as a religion in itself but Islamism as a political force that are a threat. Christian moral values โโaround the family and society is a good start to the dialogue across religious boundaries.
Identitarian patron and promoter
Already in the late 1990s Brinkmann promoted identitarian opinions and the ideas of Guillaume Faye, Alain de Benoist and Pierre Vial and their significance in a meta-political context. Brinkmann has played an important role as an international coordinator for several identitarian think tanks, organizations and political parties throughout Europe and is partly inspired by the European New Right from France, also known as GRECE. In 2004 Brinkmann founded the Continent Europe Foundation which promotes European culture and identity. The work has its main operations in Germany (including Austria), France, Spain, Italy and Russia.
International network builder
Already in the 1980s he was a familiar figure with the fascist movement in Sweden. Since then he has established many personal contacts with politicians on the Right of the political spectrum. After moving to Germany in 2007, he has been engaged in several political projects in Europe where he has worked with, for instance, Markus Beisicht (Pro Germany Citizens' Movement), Filip Dewinter (Vlaams Belang), Heinz-Christian Strache, (FPร), Jacques Cordonnier (Alsace dโabord), Mรกrton Gyรถngyรถsi (Jobbik) (who addressed the Traditional Britain Group (TBG) in June 2018) and Udo Pastรถrs of the NPD.
