Thora Hallgrimsson (Icelandic Margrét Þóra Hallgrímsson; 28 January 1930 – 27 August 2020) was an Icelandic socialite who was the wife of the businessman Björgólfur Guðmundsson. She was also the former wife of George Lincoln Rockwell, the founder of the American Nazi Party. She met George Lincoln Rockwell at a diplomatic party when he was stationed in Iceland.
Her father was the head of Shell Oil. One uncle was Iceland’s ambassador to the United States in the 1940s. Another uncle was the Bishop of Iceland. A third uncle was prime minister of the country, serving five terms until 1963.
