Tony Martin
Tony Martin (21 February 1942 β 17 January 2013) was a Black professor of Africana Studies. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, but eventually moved the United States. Published works included on Marcus Garvey.
He may be most known for less politically correct claims regarding jews, such as regarding jewish involvement in slavery. During the 1990s, he came under public criticism for encouraging his students to read The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and jews, a book compiled by the Nation of Islam.
In 2002, Martin gave a speech titled "Tactics of Organized jewry in Suppressing Free Speech" at a Institute for Historical Review conference, including on the jewish involvement in the slave trade and stated censorship regarding this.
