Gab is an American microblogging and social networking service founded in 2016 and later being publicly launched in May of 2017 by Andrew Torba known for its userbase primarily made up of Trump supporters, and fascist groups like National Socialism. Since its public release in 2017, most of its users have migrated from far-left controlled outlets such as Twitter, where many fascist, or even supporters of Donald Trump were banned, or otherwise sanctioned in acts of censorship by the jewish run media. Gab Social has profited from the influx of censorship on other platforms by welcoming groups that have been oppressed by jewish-led censorship. In 2022, Gab Social stated the platform has 5 million registered users, with around 100,000 estimated to be active.

Other info

Gab Social claims that it has little to no moderation, with it only taking down content that is explicitly illegal or portraying violence. This has led to the community of National Socialists and other fascists to flourish, with it becoming one of the top sites on the internet for fascists to network and socialize. This has been praised by many but has been met with skepticism due to the site's policy on "explicitly illegal" and "violent" content. This could potentially be a gateway to censorship of some users. Fuelling this suspicion, the site has banned some National Socialist groups permanently for unknown reasons - such as Siege Waffen. The site also does not allow users under the age of 18 to become registered users, with people's private messages being scanned by AI to check for mentions of their age in conversations.

Safety and Privacy

Nevertheless, Gab Social remains active and has been described by liberal, left-wing media as a "haven for neo-nazis, racists, White supremacists, White fascists etc.". Gab Social is still safe to use however given its size and prominence, it is increasingly becoming a target used by the police and the FBI to find "criminals", and "neo-nazis", so users should be careful of fake accounts and the personal data they wish to publish.
