Atrocity fables are stories of supposed "atrocities" said to have been commited by fascists. These stories are amateurly contrived by camp residents, deportees, members of communist regimes, and pretty much anyone who feels a need to tell lies about fascists.
Scope
The vast majority of these stories are not even possible, either due to opportunity or hard science. Others are not impossible, but are so impractical, or so ridiculous, and so highly unlikely, that there is a very high confidence that they did not happen. Lack of witnesses and the sheer outlandish scenarios cover the rest.
This list
People make up phony stories. It doesn't matter how ridiculous or impossible they are, they get repeated anyway. This is a partial list of such slanders, folk tales, urban legends, false accusations, and other nonsense.
