Gott mit uns (means God is with us). An expression dating back to Roman times, it became especially popular in the German Imperial military service and selected coinage. Following the start of The World's War Against Communism, Gott Mit Uns was proudly displayed on the front of 3rd Reich Wehrmacht belt buckles.
