Adolf Hitler’s Personal Formal Oyster Fork Stolen From The Brown House/Fuhrerbau In Munich By A U.S. Solider. Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A solid silver Hitler oyster spoon, which was in his personal set. This spoon has Hitler’s personal national eagle with his “AH” monogram. It has all the proper hallmarks on the back. This 6″ Oyster Fork is from “The Hitler Personal Formal Pattern” It is the most fancy and most desirable of all the Hitler silver sets. This piece was absconded to the United States along with several other pieces by U.S. Officer Captian Herman E. Wilkenson of the 11th Field Hospital attached to the 42nd Division. The 42nd Division was among the first U.S. troops to enter Munich and they captured the Fuhrerbau and BrownHouse. The BrownHouse was bombed but Hitler’s silver was kept in the basement and was unharmed! The thief called it “Nazi Headquarters” but it was verified the basement of the BrownHouse! There was also a kitchen in the basement for the dinners held next door. Such “Formal Pattern” silver was used in the Fuhrerbau next door for fancy state dinners and this particular piece was used only when Hitler was present, and marked personal. | |||

Contestants will write a fascipedia article, and all created articles will win a WW2-era NatSoc related antique, of their choice, which we will send to whatever address the winner chooses, absolutely free, no shipping charges or anything like that.
THE PRIZES
