YES! FasciPedia is running another contest!

Basically the contest will go like this:

THE CONTEST

Contestants will write a fascipedia article, and all created articles will win a WW2-era NatSoc related antique, of their choice, which we will send to whatever address the winner chooses, absolutely free, no shipping charges or anything like that.

THE PRIZES

The prizes for this contest are donation badges from National Socialist Germany 1933-1945. The glass animals depict various types of wildlife and insects of the day, while the terracotta awards are various characters from German fairy-tales, and astrological signs (Libra, Ares, Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn). The remainder are motherhood awards and civil service awards, all pictured below.

Details

After the previous 16 items are awarded, the REAL contest begins! Whoever writes the best article will also get Hitler's spork. This is serious.

Adolf Hitlerโ€™s Personal Formal Oyster Fork Stolen From The Brown House/Fuhrerbau In Munich By A U.S. Solider. Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A solid silver Hitler oyster spoon, which was in his personal set. This spoon has Hitlerโ€™s personal national eagle with his โ€œAHโ€ monogram. It has all the proper hallmarks on the back. This 6โ€ณ Oyster Fork is from โ€œThe Hitler Personal Formal Patternโ€ It is the most fancy and most desirable of all the Hitler silver sets. This piece was absconded to the United States along with several other pieces by U.S. Officer Captian Herman E. Wilkenson   of the 11th Field Hospital attached to the  42nd Division. The 42nd Division was among the first U.S. troops to enter Munich and they captured the Fuhrerbau and BrownHouse. The BrownHouse was bombed but Hitlerโ€™s silver was kept in the basement and was unharmed! The thief called it โ€œNazi Headquartersโ€ but it was verified the basement of the BrownHouse! There was also a kitchen in the basement for the dinners held next door.  Such โ€œFormal Patternโ€ silver was used in the Fuhrerbau next door for fancy state dinners and this particular piece was used only when Hitler was present, and marked personal.

Hitlerโ€™s silver was the ultimate war trophy for U.S. soldiers. It could be slipped into a pocket, and nobody knew the better. Yes, Americans went to Europe and stole Hitler's spork. 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) will be provided to the winner.
