The melanin theory is a theory arguing that higher levels of melanin (a pigment determining skin/hair color) cause various positive effects such as higher intelligence, creativity, warmth of character, etc. This may in turn be cited as evidence for the superiority of blacks and black supremacism. Such claims lack any scientific basis.
