Dwight York (1945) is a Black child molester, Black Power militant and musician. York was involved with and founded the Black Nationalist organization, Nuwaubians. In 1964, York was charged and convicted of raping a 13 year girl, assaulting a police officer and possession of a dangerous weapon. After serving 3 years in a State prison, he was released and joined the Black Panther Party.
In 2002, York was charged with over 200 counts of sexually assaulting over 12 different children, some as young as 4. The amount of original charges was well over 1000, but the District Attorney dropped roughly 800 charges, in fear that the jury wouldn't believe the true extent of how evil he was. He was sentenced to 125 years imprisonment in 2004.
As of 2007 Dwight York is serving his sentence at the United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility (ADX) in Florence, Colorado as Inmate # 17911-054. His projected release date is December 15, 2119.
