Andrew Jackson.
Andrew Jackson (March 15, 1767 – June 8, 1845) became famous for his participation in several military conflicts and became the seventh president of the United States (1829–37). He is associated with changes in US political philosophy and governmental organization termed Jacksonian democracy.
One controversy is regarding the Indian Removal Act. See Trail of Tears.
