Liberty Letter was a newsletter published by Willis Carto’s Liberty Lobby. Liberty Letter was first issued November 24, 1960 replacing RIGHT. Before the Johnson-Goldwater presidential race in 1964 the publication had 15,000 readership. Two years later readership soared to 200,000.[1]

In 1975 Liberty Letter was replaced by the weekly tabloid newspaper The Spotlight.[2]
