The British National Party formed in 1976 was organized by Eddy Morrison in Leeds. The party was made up of the more disciplined and ideological members from Morrisonโs earlier group National Democratic Freedom Movement.[1] The party began to grow into an national organization. In 1977 Morrison decided the to join forces with the British National Front. The BNP ended with most of the membership joining the growing National Front; some members joined British Movement.
