Improved Order of US Klans was founded in Lithonia, Georgia by Earl E. George on November 7, 1963. A 1964 FBI assessment of the group listed it as the sixth largest Klan in America with 80 members and six klaverns scattered in the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida.[1]
