Association of South Carolina Klans was organized in 1955 and headed by Robert E. Hodges. A 1964 FBI assessment of the group listed it as the fifth largest Klan in America with 334 members and eight klaverns.[1]
In the 1960s Aubrey O. Bolen (A.O. Bolen) headed the organization.
