Charles F. Robertson was the editor of Gerald L.K. Smithโs publication The Cross and The Flag. He replaced Don Lohbeck as editor in 1953. In 1956 Robertson was Smithโs running mate for President.
Robertson was instrumental in bringing Smithโs Christ of the Ozarks sculpture--often referred to by Smith as the "Sacred Project"--to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In the small town, Robertson was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and later would become the town's mayor.
In 1985 Robertson published his biography titled The Peaceful Storm.
