Cultural genocide is a term used to refer to a forced destruction of a culture, especially to a systematic destruction of cultural objects and forced suppression of cultural activities. Notably, this occurred in many Communist countries.
As used in politically correct descriptions, the term does not seem to be used for slow, "voluntary" changes, that may in the end radically alter or destroy a culture.
