He once was a left-wing anarchist who promoted drugs, homosexuality, bombs and violent anti-racism. But around the turn of the millennium, he swung to the right, as reflected in his Overthrow.com website and its "Libertarian Socialist News" service, which was for several years the second most popular suchsite on the Internet. After some time with another pro-white group, White set up his own American National Socialist Workers Party in 2006. In April 2010, White was sentenced to 2 Β½ years in prison for making threats against his enemies through the Internet, the telephone and the mail. His American National Socialist Workers Party collapsed in the wake of his legal troubles.
