John Steinbacher was a conservative author and political activist. His books include Bitter Harvest and The Child Seducers. Steinbacher started his career as a school teacher and later as a social worker in Los Angeles. Eventually he became involved in politics as Managing Editor to The National Educator where he promoted the third party presidential candidacy of US Representative John G. Schmitz in 1972.[1]
