The Church of Scotland is the official Established Church in Scotland.[1] It is Protestant, Presbyterian and Calvinist. Its governing body is the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, which meets annually in the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh. The Church's administrative headquarters are in George Street, Edinburgh.
Although it continues its mission work in places like Africa, it has been argued that the Church of Scotland at home is in terminal decline.[2]
