Understanding Islam is a book by Guillaume Faye, published in English in 2016 by Arktos.
Publisher description
"Understanding Islam means knowing that, in spite of its seemingly many internal divisions, the world of Islam has but one enemy — any civilisation that is not its own. Guillaume Faye proposes that there is no difference between Islam and Islamism other than a tactical one. According to him, Islam is completely incompatible with pluralist democracy, secularism, and the Western conception of freedom. Its purpose is theocracy, and its reign is synonymous with a decline in intelligence. Understanding Islam urges Westerners to refuse to submit to Islam’s values and to reject its principles."[1]
