Ian Edward Costard (born c. 1954), commonly known as Ian Edward, is a political personality in the United Kingdom. He was the chairman of the National Front from 2009 until 2013. He has stood for local council election in Hillingdon. After Kevin Bryan was elected the new chairman in 2013, Costard at first stood down, then changed his mind and refused to sign the forms to pass legal stewardship of the party on with the Electoral Commission. He currently leads a group claiming to be the NF on a technicality, with a handful of supporters in Essex. He is purportedly based in Uxbridge, Middlesex. In between spells in the NF, Costard was in the British National Party from the mid-1990s and was the organiser of the North West London branch.
