Jerald Quillan Dutton also Jerry Dutton (born July 24, 1941) was a fourth generation Klansman and Georgia native. As a teenager he organized the Knights of the Confederacy while still in high school.
Later he became the Information Director of the National White Americans Party before its merger with National States Rights Party (NSRP). In 1962 he became the NSRP's Youth Leader.
In April 1964 Dutton left the National States Rights Party and founded the American States Rights Party in Birmingham, Alabama.
In the 1970s he joined David Duke's Knights of the Ku Klux Klan becoming Grand Dragon for Louisiana. On November 8, 1976 he broke from Duke later denouncing him as a Klan leader.
Soon thereafter Dutton joined Bill Wilkinson's Invisible Empire, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
