National League of Mothers was founded by Father Charles Coughlin on 11 December 1939, when he announced in a radio address for mothers across America to write to him or his publication Social Justice to be placed in contact with โresponsible leaders and regional organizersโ.[1] The group started their own publication the American Mothers National Weekly.
