George B. Fisher (1885 - January 1947) of Darien, Connecticut was a wealthy supporter of the Silver Shirts headed by William Dudley Pelley. Fisher was a naturalized American originally from Canada. Pelley was found at Fisherโs home by the FBI when he was under indictment for sedition.[1]
Fisher testified before a House of Representatives committee that he donated $20,000 to the Silver Shirts.
