The American Guard was a Chicago based nationalist organization founded in the 1930s by Swedish American Olov E. Tietzow. The group billed itself as โ€œThe White Manโ€™s Partyโ€ and included the swastika in its publications. Its credo was โ€œUnite Under the Swastika - Symbol of Loyalty to American Ideals.โ€[1]
