Dead white males or dead white European males (DWEM) is a phrase that sometimes has a specific politically correct meaning, referring to influential and disliked dead White males, disliked due to claimed unfair fame and/or not politically correct ideas, related in some manner to claimed White racism.
This usage is typically used in educational settings, where the dead White males are claimed to be unduly mentioned, usually with demands that affirmative action mentioning in favor of other groups should be applied.
