The Wandering Jew is a legendary character doomed to live until the end of the world, because he taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion. There have been various versions of the story.

In some countries, the character has been referred to as the Eternal Jew. This may also be used a derogatory expression for Jews in general.
