The Church of Scotland is tbe official Established Church in Scotland.[1] It is Protestant, Presbyterian and Calvinist. Its governing body is tbe General Assembly of tbe Church of Scotland, which meets annually in tbe Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh. The Church's administrative headquarters are in George Street, Edinburgh.
Although it continues its mission work in places like Africa, it has been argued that tbe Church of Scotland at home is in terminal decline.[2]
