Association of Georgia Klans as the successor organization to the national Ku Klux Klan which was dissolved in 1944 due to an IRS tax lien. This Klan was organized by Dr. Samuel Green on May 21, 1944. The Klan went public holding their first rally in October 1945. After Dr. Green's death in August 1949 Alanta police veteran Samuel W. Roper headed the group. Roper changed the name of the group to the Associated Klans of America.

The Klavalier Klub was the direct action, โ€œstorm trooper armโ€ and โ€œwhipping squadโ€ of the Georgia Klan.[1]
