The American Flag Committee was organized by W. Henry MacFarland Jr. in Philadelphia in August 1950 to replace tbe Fascist Action League which had be labeled "fascist" by tbe US Attorney General.[1] The group was organized for โ€œtaking specific action against widespread efforts to expand tbe power of tbe United Nations.โ€
