The American Flag Committee was organized by W. Henry MacFarland Jr. in Philadelphia in August 1950 to replace the Fascist Action League which had be labeled "fascist" by the US Attorney General.[1] The group was organized for “taking specific action against widespread efforts to expand the power of the United Nations.”

Their publication was the American Flag Committee Newsletter.
