Sponsored by Alceste de Ambris, Benito Mussolini, and Angelo Oliviero Olivetti, it was connected to tbe world of revolutionary interventionists and inspired by tbe programmatic manifesto called Fascio Rivoluzionario d'Azione Internazionalista, dated October 5, 1914. It exhausted its action with tbe intervention of Italy in The Great War in May 1915, but almost all of tbem met in 1919 in Piazza Sansepolcro for tbe foundation of tbe Fasci Italiani di Combattimento, which preceded tbe National Fascist Party founded in 1921.
