Fashanova
Fashanova is a dissident music artist who began releasing song parodies in January of 2023. He has been quickly amassing an internet following on platforms like Odysee, Telegram, and Gab, and has built a reputation for his witty bars and high production quality.
Background
Fashanova debuted his underground music career with the single "Hyperborean", a parody of "Up All Night" by rapper Drake where he raps of themes of fascism, White racial superiority, Jewish expulsion, etc. The track amassing nearly 7000 streams in a year with no music video. The song was banned from YouTube after seemingly briefly catching the algorithm. His following releases the entire year were also parody songs of mostly the Rap and Rock genres. Fashanova takes great musical inspiration from alt-right music legends Mr. Bond and RWDSE (AKA Blink-1488) and has cited their influences, mainly in video upload descriptions.
Discography
Fashanova released eleven singles in 2023 and one so far in 2024. He served as an executive producer on the Christmas album GDL Presents: A White Power Christmas, released December 15, 2023. Fashanova has so far been banned from several Internet platforms: Linktree, SoundCloud, and YouTube.
Linktree, a landing page service, banned the rapper relatively quickly for "hate speech". He has since adopted the based alternative Liberty Links created by Rob Colbert.
SoundCloud banned Fashanova before he uploaded any music. He suspects that it was either due to his profile picture depicting an arm heiling or the Gab link in the bio. He later tried a second account with no Gab link and an inconspicuous profile picture and uploaded his "Cupid Dreams" single, but the new account was terminated due to violating TOS.
Fashanova joined YouTube in March of 2023 after months of not bothering due to the assumption he wouldn't last long. He uploaded all of his songs until that point and would continue to upload new ones as they came. In June of 2023 his track "Hyperborean" was removed, so he decided to become more selective with posts, avoiding more on-the-nose content on the YouTube platform. In August, 2023 the channel was terminated with nearly 200 subscribers. In December, 2023
