Karl Arndt also Otto Arndt of Astoria, Long Island, New York, was a wealthy and well connected member of the German American Bund.[1] In 1936 Arndt along with Bund leader Fritz Kuhn and his lieutenants: George Froboese, Rudolph Markmann, Karl Weiler traveled to the Berlin Olympics and were received by Adolf Hitler.[2] [3]
