Anthony David Weiner (born 4 September 1964) is an American-Jewish politician, a member of the Democratic Party, and a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York. Weiner resigned from Congress in June 2011, due to a scandal involving sending explicit sexual material by cell phone.
Weiner is married to Huma Abedin; they have one son.
