Szajko Frydman (often using the name Zosa Szajkowski, 1913-1978) was a Jewish historian and a notorious collector, trader, and thief of documents related to Jewish issues.
One of his documentary thefts involved stealing large amounts of German documents from German archives in Berlin, where he was stationed in the immediate postwar period. He sent hundreds of boxes with documents to the Jewish YIVO organization. German documents "processed" and presented as authentic by YIVO were used as evidence at Holocaust trials.
