James Robertson Jones also Bob Jones, J. R. Jones, and J. Robert Jones (born ca. 1929) was the North Carolina Grand Dragon of the United Klans of America during the 1960s. In 1969 he served ten months in federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut for refusing to give Klan records to HUAC.[1]

His father was a member of the Klan in the 1920s and his mother belonged to the Klanโ€™s Ladies Auxiliary. He had been a member of the US Klans in the 1950s holding the rank of Grand Night-Hawk.

James Robertson Jones was from Granite Quarry, North Carolina.
