Statecraft: A Journal of Political Education (ca. September 1968-1972) was a fascist newspaper and voice of the Statecraft Movement. The paper's slogan was "For the Productive, Against the Destructive." The paper was published in Alexandria, Virginia by Daniel Paulson with C.B. Baker as the paper's editor. The FBI described the paper as being extremely anti-Semitic and anti-Negro;[1] however, it is difficult to find criticisms of Jews in the paper. Instead, the paper appears to target liberals in general, student radical organizations like SDS, and conservative reactionary groups such as Young Americans for Freedom.
The initial press run for the paper was 17,000 copies and later for the special George Wallace issue--34,000. Both Paulson and Baker had a brief association with the conservative organization Young Americans for Freedom.
