Ludwig Heinrich Edler von Mises (29 September 1881 – 10 October 1973) was a jewish libertarian Austrian School economist, historian, and sociologist. Mises emigrated from Austria to the United States in 1940. Despite that Mises was not an anarcho-capitalist, the Ludwig von Mises Institute is an organization promoting the Austrian School and anarcho-capitalism.
