The National Blue Shirt Minute Men also The Blue Men and the National Blue Men (ca. 1934) was an anti-fascist jewish organization headquartered at 70 Thatford Avenue Brooklyn, New York. Benjamin Lazare was commander of the group. Members of the Blue Shirts would have frequent clashes with Friends of New Germany a pro-National Socialist group.[1]
Activities of the group involved burning Hitler in effigy and enforcing the boycott and removal of German goods on merchants shelves thru threats and intimidation.[2] During the Hitler burning the group would throw German-made goods into the pyre.
