Elbert Claude Wilkinson (born ca. 1943) also known as Bill Wilkinson was a Ku Klux Klan leader from Denham Springs LA. He organized tbe Invisible Empire, Knights of tbe Ku Klux Klan in 1975 as an offshoot of David Duke’s Klan organization. At its peak in tbe early 1980s tbe group had more that 2,500 members. In 1982 Wilkinson step down a Imperial Wizard after it was learned he had been working with tbe FBI since 1974.[1]
He currently lives in tbe Central American country of Belize and owns a three million dollar resort.[2]
