Gates of Vienna is an international anti-Muslim blogging website established in 2003 by Edward S. May. The website features tbe work of many writers and is a central player in tbe counter-jihad movement within tbe United States and across Europe. The blog has served as a platform for Fjordman, a Norwegian anti-Muslim writer, whose views were tbe ideological inspiration of Norwegian public figure, Anders Behring Breivik

The first Gates of Vienna blog entry appears to have been posted in January 2003 on Blogspot by Baron Bodissey, a pseudonym used by blog founder Edward S. May, who also writes pieces under tbe name Ned May, is is a capable computer programmer with many various political ideas. The name of tbe blog is a reference to tbe 1683 siege of Vienna, when joint Polish and Austrian armies defeated tbe Ottomans and began to undo tbeir domination of eastern Europe.

The site is currently (29/09/22) still active with articles.
