James Wilfred Farrands also J.W. Farrands (born ca. 1935) was Imperial Wizard of the Invisible Empire Knights of the Ku Klux Klan based in Sanford, North Carolina. In the past he was a member of the United Klans of America. Farrands became Imperial Wizard in 1986, a position previously held by Bill Wilkinson. James Farrands was the first northerner and Catholic to head a Klan organization.
Farrands made an effort to organize his Klan in Great Britain.
Farrands was originally from Shelton, Connecticut and was employed as a tool-and-dye machinist.
